lodgeboards.com was born October 28, 2001 as a small ez board with maybe a dozen people.We met on a Disney fan site and quickly realized we had more to discuss than all things Disney and we weren't all about the pixie dust and saccharin sweetness that goes along with most of those sites.
Essentially we are an online community geared heavily towards travel.
Our forums are moderated but we know that we are all adults and leave most things up to individual judgement. We discuss events and subjects that most grown ups speak about. If you are looking for a forum where everything is all pixie dust and sweet and nothing is ever wrong with the world, then you have landed at the wrong place. If you are interested in discussing Disney, cruising, world events and entertainment, or if you just need to to tell a joke or are looking to make friends and have a lot of laughs, c'mon in, we've been expecting you!

Ladies,
Just a very preliminary look into a trip to Maui in 2011. Probably looking for DVC for a week and then a week in Maui. The link on your site is interesting. Have either of you ever stayed there? Just looking for some 'getting started' info. I don't know where to start.

I've never worked with a travel agent before, but could really use some suggestions for this trip we'd like to plan. I found out recently that I'll have a few extra days off work around the July 4th holiday and we'd like to plan a quick trip somewhere. It's just 2 adults. We can leave Thurs 7/2 and return either Sunday 7/5 or Mon 7/6. I was really excited to hear that they finally extended the TIW discount to Tokyo dining, the Swolphin restaurants (Yeah Kimomos!) and some downtown ones as well.
Since they are more expensive places, I'm curious what kind of deal they cut with the non Disney owned restaurants.
